5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park and Sipi Falls

Day 1

Departure from Kampala to Gulu 

Depart on the 5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park and Sipi Falls trip from Kampala by 7:00 am after your morning breakfast in the company of our driver guide who will brief you on the trip prior to departure. Consider stopping at Luweero for a quick snack, fruits especially pineapples or to stretch your legs.

Resume the journey and head straight to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can even go on a guided rhino-tracking tour. Your lunch will be in Nakasongola at Kabalega Diner.

Resume your journey and arrive in Gulu, check in to your accommodation, and take some time to relax for the activities planned the next day.

Day 2

Transfer from Gulu to Kidepo Valley National Park

Check out from your hotel in Gulu with an early breakfast and head towards Kitgum, the nearest major town to Kidepo Valley National Park. Pack a picnic lunch to have on the way.

It is recommended you have your phone or camera battery fully charged. Upon arrival at Kidepo Valley National Park, you will be greeted by a vast expanse of untouched wilderness. The park’s rugged terrain, characterized by savannah grasslands, rolling hills, and rocky landscapes, will leave you in awe of its natural beauty. The air is filled with the sounds of wildlife, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

 Day 3

Morning Game drive and afternoon Cultural encounter in Kidepo Valley National Park

Early morning after your breakfast, rise with the sun and set off on an exhilarating early morning game drive. As the dawn breaks, the park comes alive with a stunning wildlife species. After your lunch, go an evening Cultural experience around the Karamojong communities. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Karamojong communities that surround Kidepo Valley National Park. Engage in authentic interactions, where you can learn about their traditional way of life, unique customs, and vibrant folklore. Witness traditional dances, participate in craft workshops, and savor authentic Karamojong cuisine. Day 4

Depart Kidepo to Sipi falls, Kapchorwa

On this day, wake up to an early morning breakfast and depart Kidepo for Sipi Falls with packed lunch. The journey will take you through Kaabong and Moroto.

Upon arrival at Sipi, check in at the lodge where you can decide to relax, do an evening sunset walk or go for a coffee experience as you prepare for the next day adrenaline pumping activities.

Day 5

Explore Sipi Falls and depart to Kampala

Morning:
Start your day with an early breakfast and prepare for a more challenging adventure. Today, you have the option to go abseiling down one of the waterfall cliffs under the guidance of experienced instructors at Sipi Falls.

Descend down the rock face while being surrounded by the rush of water. This is an exhilarating experience that offers visitors a unique perspective of the sipi falls adventure.

Afternoon:
After the abseiling adventure, have a picnic lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sipi Falls area then embark on a coffee experience where you can take part in its local  production process, have a coffee drink, and leave a mark by planting a coffee tree under your name.

Late Afternoon:
As the day winds down, begin your journey back to Kampala. The return drive offers more opportunities to enjoy Uganda’s scenic landscapes and a shopping moment in Mbale City.

You will arrive in Kampala late in the evening marking the end of your 5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park and Sipi Falls adventure.
