The 3 days Gorilla safari takes you into the wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable forest harboring an
estimated half of the word’s Gorilla population. The forest is believed to have been in existence for over
25,000 years on the misty hillsides protecting about 400 mountain Gorillas and other primates that
include the baboons, colobus monkeys and chimpanzees not forgetting the 350 bird species.
The park eats up 321 square kilometer land and was established in 1991 as a game reserve and in 1994
recognized and declared a UNESCO as a selected World Heritage Centre.
DAY 1
Departure from Kampala is at 6:00am immediately after your early breakfast. The company driver guide
will pick you up from your hotel and drives you Southwest of Kampala via Masaka where you have a
brief stop at the Equator for a photographic moment and a craft shop where you can decide to buy
some souvenirs and refreshments.
The resumes and along the way you view the rolling hills, beautifully terraced landscapes and vegetation
of Kabale, the long horned Ankole cattle and you make another stopover in Mbarara town for your
lunch with a chance to reach Igongo cultural center which is optional. The journey resumes and you
enter Bwindi Impenetrable Park late in the evening for your relaxation, dinner and overnight in a lodge
of your choice.

DAY 2
TRACKING GORILLAS IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, your driver guide takes you to the headquarters to be briefed by the park
ranger guides on the dos and don’ts while in the tracking activity. The don’ts will be highlighted for you
below for you to have prior knowledge for safety purposes both for you and the Gorillas.
The don’ts/guidelines include;
You will be required to carry with a picnic lunch box as you set off for your trek in search for the
mountain Gorillas up and down the slippery hills which eventually lands you to these celebrated primate
species. You will take photos with them, learn about their behavior and survival tactics for a full hour
and then you return to the camp to refresh, relax, have dinner and overnight.

DAY 3
DEPARTURE TO KAMPALA
As soon as you are done having breakfast, you start your journey back to Kampala through Mbarara and
Kabale as you enjoy the breath taking landscape and beautiful sceneries and before you know it, you are
at Lake View hotel for lunch in time. Later in the evening you arrive in Kampala either in a hotel or to
Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
