1 Day Jinja and Samuka Island Tour
At 7:00 AM
For the 1 Day Jinja and Samuka Island tour, depart from your hotel or residence by 7:00 am in Kampala and drive to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda in order to beat the morning traffic jam.
Make stopover at Namawojjolo to grab some roadside roasted chicken.
Arrive in Jinja and start your one day trip with a water biking adventure on the Nile.
Then a visit to the Source of the Nile, where the Nile River starts its journey.
If you like and depending on the time, take a boat ride or simply enjoy the panoramic views of the river and tour the reptile village.
At 10:30 AM
Proceed to the iconic Bujagali Falls and witness the impressive display of natural beauty. Make sure to take photos and learn about the history and significance of the falls to Uganda and the rest of East Africa.
At 11:30 AM
Embark on an exhilarating white water rafting experience on the Nile River. Enjoy the thrill of navigating through rapids and splashing waves under the guidance of professional rafting guides.
There are other activities to choose from such as Nile Tubing, Kayaking, Bungee Jumping, Horseback Riding and Quad Biking.

After rafting or any other activities of your choice, freshen up and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Jinja, savoring Ugandan cuisine that always represents our culture.
At 2:30 PM
Board a boat to Samuka Island and upon arrival on the Island, a serene and beautiful island on Lake Victoria; relax on the white sandy beach or take a swim in the clear waters of the lake. Note that swimming is only for the experts.
Take a guided nature walk around Samuka Island and explore the lush vegetation, spotting various bird species and other wildlife.
At 5:30 PM
Witness a breathtaking sunset over Lake Victoria and absorb the tranquility of the island. This is the perfect time for romantic sundowners and photography moment.
At 6:00 PM
Depart from Samuka Island and boat back to the mainland and drive back to Kampala, reflecting on the day’s adventures and Jinja’s memorable experiences.
